What a great place for inspirational blind ideas, the BBC’s Homes Under The Hammer has become! Having just watched, Series 20 Episode 68, yes really, two brothers renovating a bungalow for their mother managed to fit not only light oak fine grain faux wood venetian blinds throughout the home but lovely light coloured vertical blinds to the rear of the house on the french doors which led to the garden.
It would be untrue to say that the blinds made the home, but they had a major impact in the overall look of the terrific decor the brothers had pulled together. Easy to fit and inexpensive to buy, blinds can really impact the look of any interior. The faux wood blinds in this instance give the look and warmth of real wooden blinds and the benefit of the great value of faux wood, it’s almost impossible to tell them apart!
