When choosing your wooden or faux wood blind look a bit further at the other furniture or design features within the room, in order to make more of your blind purchase.
The many colours of wooden or faux wood blind options mean that you will be able to match other pieces of furniture in your room or indeed contrast with them. Look at the colour detail in cushions, rugs, carpets or upholstery and choose a tape which will match or contrast perfectly and pull the room together. This simple tip can have an amazing impact on the look of any room and is something that is often used by interior designers when developing colour schemes.

Samples and swatches of all blind types, tapes and fabrics are readily available and it’s a good idea to kick around a few ideas before making your final choices. Try to visualise how your chosen scheme will look throughout all the seasons of the year and special occasions such as Christmas and New Year. How will the overall design look and feel on those long hot summer days?

Be even more creative by dressing your windows with colourful roller blinds and voiles, in a recess position, and cover them with a wooden or faux wood blind. The overall look can be stunning and is of the moment – be brave, be daring, be creative!

Measure the visible glass area of each window. Ensure to measure up to the edge of the rubber bead. Do not include the rubber bead or seals in your measurement. Similar to recess measuring, you should take three measurements for both length and width. We will use the shortest measurement.
